If you have symptoms of coughing, diarrhea or vomiting, we request that you stay home and reschedule your visit for another day.
If you absolutely must come, we request that you:
- Tell the care staff, as soon as you arrive, that you think you may have an infection.
- Follow their instructions.
- Wear a mask.
- Wash your hands.
- Sit in a reserved area, away from the other waiting visitors.
Instructions for visitors
Our best weapon against infection continues to be hand disinfection:
- When entering and leaving the facility.
- Before entering a patient’s room.
- Before leaving a patient’s room.
- Before eating.
- After blowing your nose.
- After using to the bathroom.
To make it easier for you to wash your hands, we have installed hand sanitizer stations at the entrance to every facility, in every patient room and in all common areas.
Please also be attentive to the posters outside patient rooms: they indicate the procedure to follow to avoid transmitting germs from one patient to another. In some cases, you may be required to wear a gown and gloves to enter a room.
