Accounts Receivable Department
The Accounts Receivable Department is responsible for billing patients for certain care and services provided that are not covered by the Régie de l’assurance maladie du Québec, such as hospitalization in a private or semi-private room, hospitalization while awaiting placement in a long-term care residential facility, accommodations in a CHSLD, intermediate or family-style resource, regional services, services provided to non-residents (from outside Canada, from outside Quebec, refugees, etc.) and other costs (casts, copies of medical records, etc.).
